Dear Prospective Parent, 

Thank you for choosing to apply to one of our King David/SABJE Schools. 

Please read the instructions carefully BEFORE commencing the application. 

Please note that when completing this online application, it needs to be done from start to finish and will not be saved should you not complete any of the sections. With this in mind, please ensure that you have the following mandatory documents scanned and available to upload as part of the application BEFORE you begin:

1. Birth Certificate of Child (Preferably Unabridged)
2. Copy of Father/Guardian ID/Passport 
3. Copy of Mother/Guardian ID/Passport 
4. Proof of Residence 
5. Ketubah OR Proof of Jewishness Form (download here).  
6. Proof of Payment of deposit fee / joining fee. When joining in Pre-Primary and Grade R (all schools except KD Sandton Grade R), there is non-refundable deposit which will be deducted from the first month’s school fees. For all other KD Primary and High Schools as well as Grade R at KD Sandton there is a non-refundable joining fee. Download Policy here.

In some cases the following documents should also be available:

1. Latest school report (if transferring from another school) 
2. Financial Clearance/Fees statement (if transferring from another school) 
3. Non-South Africans are required to attach a copy of pages 2&3 of the child's passport, visa, date of entry into South Africa and a study permit.

Additional information for existing parents: When applying for an additional child/children you will be required to upload and submit supporting documentation 1-6 mentioned above. The uploading of Parent/Guardian ID/passport, Proof of Jewsihness and Proof of Residence will be a once-off online requirement and thereafter SABJE will have an electronic copy of these documents for any future applications. A birth certifcate and proof of deposit will be required to be uploaded with each application. Please ensure that you have your 6-digit account number with SABJE when completing this application. This can be found in the top right hand corner of your fee statement. 

When completing the form, please type in N/A for the fields that are Not Applicable to you.

On completion of this online application, a copy will be emailed to you together with two documents:

1. Parent/Guardian Signatory Form
2. Payment Instruction Form

Please print these two documents ONLY, complete, sign and e-mail them to the school that you are applying for (these details will be available in the email sent to you on completion of your application). 

The copy of the completed application form is for your records.  

Applicants to Ariel to please note that prior to filling in an application, a Pre-Admission Interview will need to be arranged directly with the school.
